We are also one of very few custom bay boat builders in the Rio Grande Valley, that actually design and engineer each of our hulls using the latest in hydrostatic testing from the industries most proven computer software programs, on into our prototypes, helping to push each design to its maximum potential for efficiency in fuel, feel and safety.

Our construction process utilizes the latest in composite technology. The majority of our boats are made with specially blended vinylester resins and gel coats; however, epoxy and exotic fiber construction is available as an option on our bay boats. BAYWOLF's professional staff of composites technicians assemble each boat by hand, using professionally designed laminate schedules. Our stringer and structural grid system yields the strongest bay boats in the industry without adding bulky weight. We continually educate our composite technicians on advancements in the industry.

This dedication to excellence shows in every boat we build. At Baywolf all structural components are built using reinforced composite materials instead of wood; no wood construction means no rot. In mold curing, all stringers have fillets at the bottom to add rigidity and to spread loads. It just doesn't get any stronger than this. The result of this dedication to technology and level of excellence is that all Baywolf owners are able to relax and feel confident while enjoying the heart pumping excitement our bay boats create, while being backed by a limited lifetime hull warranty.

 

Prototyping

Our LABORATORY, hard core results only the Lower Laguna Madre can deliver. There is no other place on earth that will demand a bay boat to survive the constant pounding from the waters when you go north to the cut, or the ultra shallow bays that can drive you crazy. Our coastal location guarantees ultimate quality because we have all the components for the ideal research and development laboratory.

R&D is a critical process at Baywolf Boats, and our engineers and test drivers are on the water with our boats at every opportunity. Many boat builders rely solely on older proven designs, but Baywolf engineers know that dated designs don't offer the performance or the truest potential of the latest technologies in the new era of shallow water boating, and computers cannot always accurately reconstruct the unpredictable movement of water and waves; so we strive to explore and evolve each design beyond what is considered "A good boat", and into the what will be the best boats around. The best boats are born only by combining a computer's intuition with hard core reality.
